Guru Granth Sahib is a holy scripture of Sikhism, which is a collation of many hymns, poems, shabads and other writings from many different scholars, and primarily the words spoken by the Gurus. This is known as Gurbani, which means ‘from the Guru’s mouth’. The scripture is written in Gurmukhi, in which the Punjabi language is written.
