It is thrilling, hopeful, and refreshing to move countries, cities, or even houses. However, this displacement is accompanied with the anguish and loss that comes with leaving familiar surroundings. Sameera Reddy and her two children are going through something similar after moving to a new home in Goa. Taking to Instagram, the actor said that "moving home with kids is tough".


Moving houses was an "emotional, physical, and such a mental shift" for the family, Sameera wrote. "Post-pandemic, we constructed a space in Goa we felt comfortable in," she added. " And it was difficult to change that environment, but sometimes you have to break out of your comfort zone and move forward in order for new energy to enter your life."






She went on to explain how her children, Nyra and Hans, are coping with the change. "After so much resistance, Little Nyra finally said she feels like it's her house, and Hans has also settled, and I am so grateful," she wrote.


"I'm looking forward to this year, to work on a better me and really focus on what matters the most," Sameera ended as she shared her goals for the next year. " Getting up every day with a new perspective and celebrating some little things will keep me grounded and humble."


Sameera has been one of the most active celebrity users of social media, she has been vocal on various issues, pertaining equal role of parents, and other issues pertaining to gendered roles. 


Last year, one of Sameera's Instagram reels garnered a lot of attention. The actress who has championed body acceptance for the past two to three years portrayed various types of mothers going about their daily lives in a funny Instagram video.


In a humorous way, her reel supported the idea that a mother plays several roles in her child's growth. In her humorous film, she portrays a range of mothers, including the "tired mom," the "gym mom," the "fashion mom," the "influencer mom," and the "please don't talk to me mom."






The video quickly went viral, with over 6,00,000 views in the first three hours. It has received over 50,000 likes and is still receiving views and likes.
