Their edgy style will attract right at the first look - and youngsters follow them to upgrade their dressing sense in the best way possible. Same is the story of Komal Pandey! From a college going student who used to save 50 bucks every other day for shopping once or twice a month, to a public figure with about 600K following, Komal has restructured the fashion statement for Indian population. She has managed to look drop-dead gorgeous in any attire, be it from the flea market of Sarojini or the dazzling racks of ZARA. With undivided zeal, love and passion towards fashion and dressing up, Komal has found her way to become one of the best fashionistas in the country. Starting with a handful of followers on Instagram in 2013, she popularised the concept of styling on a strict budget, and the rest is history. The art of using one type of clothing in different ways, a.k.a. fashion capsule, always intrigued her. The concept was in its nascent stage in India and her efforts went booming. The young generation could relate with her on how to look fabulous even without clothes from the fancy brands out there. Komal’s ‘fashion capsule’ videos gained attention of as many as 1.5 million plus viewers. Her idea was to experiment contemporary clothing and bring new trends for her followers, which became an instant hit. With the completion of all the 18 episodes of Fashion Therapy’s first season, she is already live with a brand-new season 2. The treatment and set up has been refreshed with the styling process amped up for her followers. For a brand that Komal has become, she shares the credit with her followers. For what she believes in, she is nothing without her followers and their continued love has helped her grow from a ‘just a girl next door’ to a name that inspires millions today.
