The video, a hilarious parody of singer Carly Rae Jepsen song 'Call Me Maybe', has been prepared by three IIT Madras students -Asmita Ghosh, Anukripa Elango and Krupa Varghese-and posted on Youtube.
In Tamil, Pondati meaning wife. The video features Varghese as a typical conservative Indian mother looking for a ‘tall thin and homely’ wife for her son.
The video was made for a college contest but surprisingly has gone viral on the net.
