In this hot summer, the whole of Delhi is trying to stay under shade and hydrated. However, a church in Janakpuri is trying to help the needy. The Mar Gregorios Orthodox Church, under the initiative called 'Share N Care', has opened up a public refrigerator for those who cannot afford to hydrate themselves in this souring temperature. According to a post by Jiji K Ninan on Facebook, the fridge will keep food and water to help the poor.

This is a new initiative and the OCYM Janakpuri unit has taken responsibility to run this project smoothly during summer time", Ninan wrote on his post. It may be recalled that a few days back in Kochi, a restaurant had opened a public refrigerator outside their premises.
Image-Facebook However, unlike Kochi restaurant, the fridge here is kept "well in church premises" which arises a question as to how effectively the food will reach the needy? The fridge is donated by a patron of the church.
