It was reported that that incident happened when the minister was present in the house. When the help arrived at the house, noticed the shattered glass of the window pane and informed party workers about the vandalism on Thursday, said an NDTV report.

"A special team has been formed to probe the incident of stone-pelting that smashed the window of MoS MEA V Muraleedharan's house. Police are investigating the matter. We will find out what really happened," Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said after the incident happened on Thursday.

Meanwhile, MoS MEA V Muraleedharan visited the Embassy of Syria and extended condolences to Ambassador Bassam Al-Khatib for the devastation caused by the earthquake. "India stands ready to extend support to the people of Turkey. India has always been coming to the help of people across the world and humanitarian assistance has been provided in various countries across the world. The armed forces medical team is already there," he said about the ongoing "Operation Dost".
