Heavy rains lashed Bengaluru and flooded parts of the city on Wednesday. Several homes were inundated and waterlogging was reported in many places.
According to reports, the city experienced power outages at many places, and there were incidents of wall collapse too. The India Meteorological Department has issued yellow alert in the city for the next three days.
In a viral video, Jeeshan Kohli, a resident of Bengaluru, said: "This is'nt a river,its my building's basement.#bbmp #bengalururains."
Several Twitter users reacted to the tweet. One of them said, “Feel sorry for you, just that nature has its ways of reclaiming.”

Earlier, a wall built near BMRCL construction site collapsed. As a result, seven cars and two bikes were damaged.
Major waterlogging was mainly reported from Indiranagar II Stage, HAL Layout in Indiranagar and HSR Layout.
Shantinagar, Jayanagar, Vijayanagar, Mysuru Road, Majestic, City Market, Rajajinagar, Kengeri, Uttarahalli, Yelahanka, Hebbal regions were heavily affected by the rain. Mahadevapura and Bengaluru East, the regions which experienced flood fury recently recorded 60 to 80 mm of rainfall.
Last month, Bengaluru experienced a flood-like situation and many IT professionals were forced to travel to their offices in tractors.
In July too, Karnataka experienced floods caused by the rains and the state carried out relief work. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai had also sought financial assistance from the central government after the incident.
