JD(S) chief and former PM HD Deve Gowda arrived on Monday to participate in the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Noting the historic significance of the event, Deve Gowda expressed his sincere gratitude to PM Modi for the event. Further, he said that the decision of I.N.D.I.A bloc leaders to skip the event was not prudent.














Taking to X, HD Deve Gowda said, "The event that is going to take place in Ayodhya today is a historic one... I must also express my sincere thanks to the honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi."

On INDIA bloc leaders not participating in Pran Pratishtha ceremony, he said, "The stand they have taken, I don't think it is going to be a proper decision."








While the Karnataka government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, has not officially declared a holiday for the occasion, the fervor and enthusiasm surrounding the inauguration of the Ram temple can be witnessed throughout the state. Temples are adorned with decorations, and special 'puja' ceremonies are being conducted to mark this significant event.


Adding to the festivities, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is set to inaugurate a monumental 33-feet-tall statue featuring Sita, Rama, Lakshmana, and Anjaneya Swamy (Lord Hanuman).


The consecration ceremony of Ram Lalia at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya is scheduled for Monday in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, saints, and various distinguished guests. The event will commence at 10 am with a musical soiree followed by the Pran Pratishtha ceremony beginning at 12:30 pm.
