The suspended JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna was remanded to six days of police custody on Friday. Prajwal Revanna arrested in connection with an obscene video case was taken to Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital in Bengaluru for a medical examination. Following the examination, Prajwal was brought before the 42nd ACMM court judge at the City Civil Court.


According to ANI, Suspended JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna was remanded to six days of police custody.







Earlier, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) requested custody of Prajwal. In the High Court, the SIT also filed an application questioning the bail granted to HD Revanna's bail in the kidnapping case of a woman from Mysuru.  


The Hasan MP was arrested by the SIT on Thursday night at Bengaluru Airport.

Prajwal has been implicated in three separate cases of sexual assault with additional charges of rape also filed against him. In the initial case filed against him on April 28 at the Holenarasipura Town police station in Hassan, Prajwal faces allegations of sexually harassing a 47-year-old former housemaid. He is designated as accused number two in this case, while his father, Holenarasipura MLA HD Revanna, is listed as accused number one.






Hasan MP Prajwal Revanna had been absconding leading to the issuance of a Blue Corner notice against him. He was apprehended minutes after landing at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru. Prajwal Revanna had left India on April 27 after the first phase of polling in the state.









 








On May 29, Prajwal filed an anticipatory bail application at the Principal City and Sessions Court for Elected Representatives. The court issued a notice to the SIT to submit objections, scheduling the hearing for Friday.
