After BJP Yuva Morcha worker Praveen Nettaru's murder by assailants on Tuesday evening, Dakshina Kannada witnessed massive protests on Wednesday. Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai and Home Minister Araga Jnanendra assured that the culprit will be arrested.


On the same issue, BJP National General Secretary CT Ravi said that It's not an isolated incident, it's a part of a conspiracy by Jihadi elements. "We'll take help of central agencies to root out such elements from the state. CM & HM monitoring situation&few persons arrested," Ravi said as quoted by news agency ANI.


"After yesterday's incident, the party workers are agitated. We understand their sentiments & stand with them. Praveen's death has made not just his family sad but also the party workers. Our govt in Karnataka will work towards serving justice," he added.


While speaking about the issue, BJP leader Ravi took a dig at the former government by alleging that during then CM Siddaramaiah's tenure 32 party workers were murdered by jihadi elements. The BJP leader further claimed that the Congress used to help jihadi element.






Meanwhile, Karnataka CM Bommai addressed the media on Wednesday and condemned the "heinous act". He assured that the culprits will be arrested soon. "It looks like a planned incident bearing similarities to other cases," he said.
