Utkal Express accident: 'Traffic on the line will be restored around 10 pm,' says Railways

By 10 pm traffic movement will be normal on the affected track, said Mohd Jamshed (⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠Member Traffic, Railway Board).

The Kalinga Utkal Express derailed on Saturday evening near Khatauli.

Our final figures say 20 people lost their lives and 92 were injured, out of whom 22 have sustained grievous injuries, Mohd Jamshed from the Railway Board told the media.

As per directions of Railway Min, strict action will be taken against those found guilty prima facie, he added.
