2) Shiney Ahuja: He was arrested for allegedly raping his maid. In 2011, Ahuja was sentenced to seven years rigorous imprisonment. He filed an appeal against his conviction in the Bombay High Court and it stayed his sentence until his case could be decided in the High Court. The maid, reportedly, has been prosecuted for perjury. New Delhi: On Thursday, a Jodhpur court convicted Bollywood actor Salman Khan in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. Interestingly, the court acquitted his colleagues Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali Bendre, a prosecution lawyer said. Salman Khan has been held guilty of killing two blackbucks in Kankani village near Jodhpur. The incident had occured in October 1998 during the shooting of the film Hum Saath Saath Hain. However, he isn't the only actor who spent time behind bars. There are some others too. (Image: Twitter)
1) Sanjay Dutt: Sanjay Dutt was arrested for illegal arms possession. In March 2013 the Supreme Court upheld Dutt's five-year sentence. He already had spent 18 months in jail during the trial. The court refused to release him on probation due to the severity of the offense. (Image: Twitter)
5) Aditya Pancholi: Aditya Pancholi had been accused of raping his ex-girlfriend Pooja Bedi’s 15-year-old maid when the two celebs were allegedly dating. Pancholi was sentenced by a Metropolitan Court to a one-year imprisonment in an assault case that took place in 2005. The court also fined Pancholi Rs. 20,000. He was, however, able to secure bail. 4) Rajpal Yadav: Rajpal Yadav, reportedly, ran into legal trouble and was awarded 10-day imprisonment in 2013 for filing a false affidavit in court. Yadav had spent four days in jail from December 3, 2013 till December 6, 2013 after which a division bench of the High Court had suspended the sentence on his appeal. (Image: Twitter)
