New Delhi [India], Aug 6 (ANI): Actor Rana Daggubati has started prepping for his upcoming film - a biopic on Telugu actor-turned-politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) - in which he will play Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

For the same, he recently met the Andhra CM and took to Twitter to share his excitement.

Along with a picture with him, the 'Baahubali' star wrote, "What an honour it is to play the role of the Honourable ChiefMinister of Andhra Pradesh Mr.N.ChandraBabuNaidu @ncbn in the #NTR biopic. Thank you sir for giving us your valuable time."

After months of speculation, earlier last week, the 33-year-old confirmed being part of the project on social media. He had posted, "Coming together to tell you a story of an incredible human phenomenon called 'N.T.RamaRao'".

The film also stars Bollywood actor Vidya Balan and Bengali actor Jisshu, along with N Balakrishna, Vishnu Induri and Sai Korrapati. (ANI)
