Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh used to organise a 'Bigg Boss'-like show in his secret cave involving couples, Honeypreet Insan's former husband on Friday claimed as he also dismissed as a sham that she was the Dera Sacha Sauda chief's adopted daughter.
As search by Haryana Police continued to trace Honeypreet, who was last seen accompanying Ram Rahim in a chopper which took him to Rohtak on August 25 after being held guilty in rape case, Vishwas Gupta said his former wife is not Ram Rahim's adopted daughter.
The Delhi High Court on Tuesday reserved its order on the transit anticipatory bail plea of Honeypreet Insan, the adopted daughter of jailed Dera Sacha Dauda chief Ram Rahim, saying the easiest way out for her would be to surrender.
The court's order was based on the grounds that she has been evading arrest and hence was not entitled to any discretionary relief.
While passing the order, Justice Sangita Dhingra Sehgal also said that the bail plea was filed in Delhi to buy time and delay the proceedings going on in a Panchlula court in Haryana.
The high court had reserved the order on the bail plea of the 36-year-old woman after hearing the arguments of her counsel and those of the Delhi and Haryana Police earlier in the day.
Transit anticipatory bail application is meant to seek protection against arrest during her transit from Delhi to Haryana for joining probe in the sedition case.
During the hearing, the high court had questioned Honeypreet for filing an anticipatory bail before it even though she was a permanent resident of Haryana and told her the easiest way out is that you surrender.
