Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Oct 30 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary Ram Madhav on Sunday asserted that most of the people in the Valley want peace and development, adding that the few who are supporting terrorism won't be pardoned.

"People supporting terrorism will not be forgiven; they will be dealt according to law. But most of the people in this region want peace, prosperity and development", told the media here after attending the working committee meeting of the BJP's state unit.

"Our government will work to provide peace and development in the state", he added.

Madhav also said that the people in Kashmir are rich in culture and heritage. However, some are being misled by the elements with vested interests.

BJP national vice-president and J&K in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna and Minister of State in PMO Jitendra Singh were also present in the meeting. (ANI)
