New Delhi [India], August 19 (ANI): The Congress on Saturday made a pointed attack at Home Minister Rajnath Singh over his statement that the answer to Kashmir and terrorism will be found by 2022, citing that the asserion will come true, but under a different government.
Speaking to ANI, Congress leader Manish Tiwari said, "I agree with the Home Minister, but the only difficulty is that someone else will be in power by 2022. He should remember that the term of this government ends in 2019."
Earlier on Friday, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that the solution to the Kashmir problem, terrorism, naxalism, northeast insurgency will be found before 2022,
Addressing 'Sankalp se Siddhi - New India Movement (2017-2022) Naye Bharat kaa nirmaan', here on Friday, Rajnath said that country is facing problems of terrorism, naxalism, Kashmir problem and northeast insurgency, but a solution to these problems will be found before 2022 as the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Government has pledged to make a new India by 2022.
"There are a lot of problems like terrorism, naxalism, Kashmir problem and northeast insurgency. There is no need to tell you much about all these problems. But, I want to assure you that if we (Government) has adopted a resolution for a new India by 2022 then I want to assure countrymen that a solution to all these problems will be found before 2022," Rajnath asserted.
