Rourkela (Odisha) [India], October 2 (ANI): The Kuarmunda Police team arrested seven Jharkhand-based extortionists belonging to People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) including a retired Border Security Force (BSF) commandant.

Huge caches of arms were also seized by the Kuarmunda Police team.

Speaking to the media, S.P. Pinak Mishra said that they were tipped off about the presence of about ten to fifteen PLFI operatives in Khukundubahal forest.

The police in the search operation raided the area leading to the arrest.

All seven arrested have been sent to jail.(ANI)
