Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh) [India], Dec 22 (ANI): The tribal people of Madhya Pradesh's Shivpuri district on Friday alleged that the cash, clothes and gifts, which were distributed to the minor girls of the village in the felicitation programme by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan were taken back by administrative officers after he left.

A programme 'Sahariya Sammelan' was organised on December 9, where the Chief Minister had washed the feet of minor girls and also gifted them with Rs 2100 and clothes.

Speaking to ANI, Shivpuri Collector said, "The girls were only given Rs. 100, and not Rs. 2100. In addition, sweaters were also distributed as gifts. Maybe villagers have some confusion".

In addition, the collector said that "the matter is being investigated and that the officer is also being searched who demanded gifts and money back from the people." (ANI)
