Washington D.C. [U.S.A.], October 23 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, on a six-day visit to in Washington D.C., paid a visit to National Museum of American History.

The Chief Minister took to Twitter and said: "In National Museum of American History, got to know about the glorious history of America's freedom struggle."

"America is made up of people from all corners of the globe. It is a matter of pride that people of Indian origin have received prominence here prominently," he wrote.

He also met Indian Ambassador to Washington, Navtej Sarna.

"It was a great pleasure meeting ambassador @NavtejSarna . I look forward to the evening at @IndianEmbassyUS," the CM posted on Twitter.

Chouhan will be participating in multiple events during his stay in the US.

On Monday, Chouhan will also be holding one-on-one meetings with Andy Whitman, VP Government Affairs, Varian Medical Systems; Selina Jackson, Kee President, Global Government Relations and Public Policy, Debbie Worm, Chief Legal Officer, Procter and Gamble and others.

Chouhan will also participate in the launch event of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Forum, where he will address the gathering as a keynote speaker. Following this, he will be holding a meeting with Tulsi Gabbard, Member of the U.S. House of Representatives and a U.S.-India Business Council (USIBC) delegation led by chairman Nisha Biswal.

Chouhan will also interact with senior business leaders of the country to seek investment for his state. He will also visit the Akshardham Temple in New Jersey and Incubation Center at Columbia University.

He will be also hold a series of meetings with Amazon representatives during his visit. (ANI)
