Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], November 6 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Monday reiterated her hope in resolving the Kashmir issue through dialogue, after convening a meeting with her party workers at the People's Democratic Party (PDP) headquarters in Jammu post 'Darbar move.'
"The hope of resolution via dialogue has been rekindled in J&K," Mufti wrote on Twitter, and continued with a succeeding tweet: "I am optimistic that parties and organisations in J&K will not miss this opportunity to be a part of peace parleys."
The state government changes its place of operation between its two capital cities - Jammu in winter and Srinagar in summer - a practice locally known as "Darbar move".
The state government shifted to Jammu from summer capital Srinagar earlier in the day.
Earlier, Mufti also welcomed the Centre's move to appoint Dineshwar Sharma as interlocutor for the valley, for a "sustained dialogue with all stakeholders" with a view to find political solution to the Kashmir issue. (ANI)
