New Delhi [India] Jan. 10 (ANI): Dr. H. Wiranto, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, on Tuesday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Prime Minister warmly recalled the successful visit of Indonesian President Joko Widodo to India in December 2016, and said that he is looking forward to welcoming the President in India again later this month, when leaders of ASEAN countries will visit the country for the ASEAN-India Commemorative Summit and will also be the chief guests at the Republic Day celebrations thereafter.
The Prime Minister said that as maritime neighbours, there is a vast scope for cooperation between India and Indonesia on the development of Blue Economy as well as in the domain of maritime security.
In this context, Prime Minister Modi welcomed holding of the first meeting of the Security Dialogue between both the countries. (ANI)
