Himachal Pradesh: Forty six killed after landslide falls on 2 HRTC buses in Mandi

The incident occurred when a huge chunk of mountain fell on the buses after a landslide, killing he passengers in the bus. Rescue operations are still underway.

State Revenue Minister Kaul Singh announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh to the next of kin of those killed.

One of the buses was on its way from Chamba to Manali and the other from Manali to Katra. The bus from Chamba to Manali was carrying the maximum number of passengers.
