Siliguri (West Bengal) [India], July 16 (ANI): Police have confirmed that the fire which broke out at the depot of the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) here on Saturday is now under control and said that no casualties have been reported so far.

Commissioner of Police (CP) Neeraj Kumar Singh told ANI that the cause of the blaze is yet to be ascertained but the investigation has already begun.

"According to preliminary investigation, there were four tankers in the depot at the time of the fire. Three of them caught fire, out of which two have been doused and the third one is being doused. Our first priority is to bring the fire under control, which has been done. We have begun our investigation, and so far, no causalities have been reported," said CP Singh.

Earlier on Saturday, a fire blazed through IOCL's depot, after as ten fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot.

Police personnel, members of the fire brigade as well as IOCL have begun the investigation procedure to find out the cause of the fire.
