New Delhi [India], November 28 (ANI): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday registered a disproportionate assets (DA) case against a former deputy director of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on the charges of amassing wealth to his known sources of income between 2012 - 2017.
The accused has been identified as Gurnam Singh, who was posted as Deputy Director in Chandigarh. The CBI alleged that Singh had been amassing wealth amounting to Rs 1.5 crore between 2012-17 through corrupt means by abusing his official position.
Singh was posted as ED Deputy Director between March 2012 and January 31, 2017. (ANI)
