Delhi: Youth loses life in high speed racing
According to the information provided by DCP BK Singh, the boy Himanshu with two of his friends Lakshya and Gazi went out to race on Monday night, when Himanshu lost control of the bike and crashed into the wall of lady Irwin College and succumbed to his injuries.

View In AppHimanshu and Gazi were riding Benelli TNT 600i each and Lakshya was riding a 300cc Kawasaki Ninja 300. All these are expensive bikes and can accelerate to dangerously high levels. Benelli costs around Rs. 5.75 lakh.
The entire video of the race was recorded in the camera fit in the helmet of his friend and co-racer. Himanshu and his friends Lakshya and Gazi were returning from a party at Connaught place. After the party the trio had allegedly decided to race towards Mandi House amidst high traffic. The footage recorded in Lakshya's camera shows Himanshu cutting his way out between the traffic at a super high speed. He also dangerously overtook some of the vehicles. In the video, Himanshu's bike was seen wobbling in a bid to save the pedestrian but he unfortunately could not, and ended up losing his life. The pedestrian also suffered some injuries but is reportedly doing fine now.
The high speed racing was obstructed by a pedestrian near Mandi House and in a bid to save him, Himanshu lost control of his high-speed bike and ended up hitting him and then he was flung off onto the sidewalk of lady Irwin College with the motorcycle crashing and stopping just a few meters ahead of him. Footage showed Himanshu bleeding profusely. He was declared dead on reaching hospital.
New Delhi: In a tragic accident a 24-year-old youth lost his life in New Delhi on Monday evening. The boy identified as Himanshu Bansal was allegedly racing on Delhi street on his high capacity motorcycle with two of his friends.
