Delhi: 6 Men Impersonate As IT Officers, Raid Businessman's House, Get Beaten Up & Arrested
They thrashed them and later police was called as the feud grew. While investigating the matter, the police teams discovered that all the six were posing as fake IT officers, Biswal added. The extorted money was also recovered from their possession, Biswal added.

During their fake raid, Mitesh Kumar introduced himself as Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax and extorted Rs 20 lakh from the businessman, while his associates kept the money in car. The family later indulged into a feud with the men as they demanded money, following which they raised alarm and people in the neighbourhood gathered and started beating the six, Additional Deputy Commissioner Chinmoy Biswal said.
The accused have been identified as Mitesh Kumar, Naunhyal (45), Yogesh Kumar (32), Govind Sharma (45), Amit Aggarwal (35) and driver, Parvinder (21) and were arrested from the spot. Another associate, identified as Kailash, managed to escape, police said.
Police said the incident occurred around 12 noon when the accused persons barged into the businessman's house in Malviya Nagar posing as senior IT officers and asked to search the premises
