Bijapur (Chhattisgarh) Jan. 27 (ANI): The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Saturday defused an eight kilogram improvised explosive device (IED) in Bijapur district.
The troops of 85 battalion detected an IED, in the shape of bamboo clip, at Mahadev Ghati Bhopalpatanam road. The IED was immediately defused, said Sudhir Kumar, Commandant, 85 battalion, CRPF.
He added that the weight of the IED was approximately eight kilograms.
The area has presence of Maoists. (ANI)
