Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], July 27 (ANI): Ex-deputy chief minister of Maharashtra and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Chhagan Bhujbal on Thursday filed a fresh bail plea in special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court here.

The bail was filed under Section 439 of Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC ) before Ld. Session Judge A.N. Sirsikar.

Bhujbal is in the judicial custody since March 17, 2016. He was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the Maharashtra Sadan scam and Kalina land case in which he and his relatives were alleged to have received kickbacks. (ANI)
