He claimed the BJP will win at least 150 of 182 Assembly seats in the state.

During the felicitation function in Ahmedabad, he recollected his 20-years in the Assembly from 1997 to 2017.

He had acknowledged in Ahmedabad yesterday that the party could not get enough votes as expected that led to Balwantsinh Rajput, the party's third candidate, losing the Rajya Sabha polls from Gujarat.

While Shah and Union minister Smriti Irani were elected to the Upper House of Parliament, party candidate Balwantsinh Rajpur was defeated by Congress veteran Ahmed Patel.

He challenged the Congress to a battle in the forthcoming Assembly polls.
