New Delhi [India], July 17 (ANI): Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa will be on an official visit to France from July 17- 20 to further strengthen the existing defence cooperation between the Air Forces of the two countries.
The areas of cooperation presently include exchanges in the military training courses, mutual visits by the subject matter experts and the joint air exercises.
During his visit to France, the Chief of the Air Staff is scheduled to hold the bilateral discussions with the senior military officials of the French Armed Forces.
The main focus of the visit would be on improving bilateral relations, promote defence ties, and outline further areas of defence cooperation between India and France.
The Air Chief Marshal Dhanoa will visit headquarters of French Air Force and at few operational air bases.
He will also interact with the representatives of Military Aviation Industry in France and visit Indian Rafale PMT Infrastructure.
He has also planned to fly a sortie in Rafale.
The visit of the Air Chief in France would provide further movement towards the increasing defence cooperation between the two Air Forces and will pave the way for greater interaction and cooperation in the future. (ANI)
