Saab Will Be More ‘Integrated’ Into Indian Defence Ecosystem With 100% FDI, India Head Of Swedish Firm Says

Sweden’s Saab has become the first foreign defence firm to obtain approval for 100% FDI in India for manufacturing the latest Carl-Gustaf M4 weapon system for domestic use as well as for exports.

New Delhi: Swedish defence giant Saab has said the fact that they have received the government’s approval for making a 100 percent foreign direct investment (FDI) into the country in order to manufacture their iconic Carl-Gustaf M4 weapon system in India will further help the company in getting “integrated” into the India defence ecosystem, Mats Palmberg, Chairman and Managing Director, Saab India told ABP LIVE.
