Pakistan Still Relying On Non-Conventional Weaponry, India Remains Principal Threat

Pakistan is banking more on modernising missile arsenal, has adopted missile force as principal component of its defence strategy to offset the significant conventional military advantages India has.

Despite a precarious state of Pakistan’s economy and foreign exchange reserves barely enough for a month’s imports of essential items, Pakistani military continues to modernise at a much faster pace and has ambitious plans under execution to counter Indian armed forces. This is evident from the latest announcement by the Chief of Pakistani Air Force Air Chief Marshal, Zaheer Ahmed Baber, that Pakistan would be inducting the Chinese fifth generation fighter (FGF) aircraft FC-31.
