Opinion | India Bolsters Naval Presence In South China Sea, Sends Signal To China

China’s increasingly aggressive behaviour has led to conflict in South China Sea, and there is a tense atmosphere in Philippines waters due to a recent brawl between Chinese and Philippines' navies.

After bolstering the Philippines’ military capabilities with the supply of the supersonic BrahMos cruise missiles, India has upped the ante in the South China Sea with its decision to deploy three frontline warships to Manila. These warships embarked on their operational deployment by first heading to Singapore, and then proceeding to Malaysia. They will finally conclude their  tour in the South China Sea by reaching the Philippines. This is expected to boost the morale of the
