‘Difficult To Accept’ Free Flow Of People, Vehicles In Bhutan Under BBIN: Bhutan PM

Bhutan PM Dasho Tshering Tobgay spoke exclusively to ABP Live during his visit to New Delhi to attend PM Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony. He said India’s aid is helping Bhutan ‘a great deal’.  

New Delhi: Bhutan has once again made it clear that the country will not be able to join the pending Bangladesh-Bhutan-India-Nepal Motor Vehicles Agreement (BBIN MVA) as the Bhutanese are “concerned” and against free flow of vehicles and people, Prime Minister of Bhutan Dasho Tshering Tobgay has told ABP Live. However, he added, Thimphu is working towards other big-ticket connectivity projects such as establishing a direct rail link with India as part of a historic plan. Speaking
