India-China LAC: With the Indian and Chinese troops completing the process of disengagement at Demchok area and Depsang plains in eastern Ladakh, the focus will now be shifting to the next steps of de-escalation and de-induction of troops at the Line of Actual Control (LAC), which will “not be easy” tasks even as India faces “serious disadvantage” in terms of terrain and border infrastructure, according to Ashok K.
