ABP Ideas of India, Day 1: ABP Ideas of India is one of its kind summit that is bringing together visionary leaders from different walks of professional lives to start a dialogue on the idea of India.
New Delhi: Inaugurating the first edition of ABP Idea of India Avinash Pandey, CEO, ABP Network, welcomed esteemed thought leaders and highlighted that this summit could not have come at a better time as India has entered the 75th year of its independence.
"The world in 2022 has already seen Covid third-wave, a near threat of World War and interesting results of five state election. While we are living in the age of uncertainty and anxiety but also in a world of prosperous opportunity. We are a young democracy that debates about ideas," Avinash Pandey said during his inaugural address.
"At ABP Network we believe in what India believes in that is a dialogue of decency in exchange of arguments. While we believe in numbers, we also believe in doing the right thing. We do not go by TRPs but by touching people's hearts. The audience we don't measure you, we treasure you. We know the news can change lives and we also believe in competition but not toxicity," Avinash Pandey added.
Highlighting the focus over the next two days, Avinash Pandey said ABP Ideas of India will have a focus on five main topics.
Nationalism and globalism, contest between algorithm and emotional intelligence, sustainable development, digital dictatorship vs digital democracy and history of India will remain the five areas where luminaries will be focusing on during the two-day summit, he said.
