Home remedies can help reduce the intensity or duration of the pain. If you are troubled by headaches or migraines, then here are some tips to reduce them. 


Ginger- Ginger is a home remedy for instant relief. It helps in reducing the swelling of the blood vessels in the head, thus easing the pain. By promoting digestion, ginger also helps in pacifying nausea that occurs during a migraine. Use this magical ingredient as a home remedy for headaches by mixing equal amounts of ginger juice and lemon juice. You can drink this concoction once or twice a day. You can also apply a paste of ginger powder on the pimple for a few minutes for instant relief. 


Peppermint oil- Peppermint helps open the clogged blood vessels that lead to headaches. It contains Menthol that helps in regulating the blood flow in the body. To get rid of headaches, you can mix 3 drops of mint oil with 1 teaspoon of almond oil, or add some water and massage the back of your neck with it. Alternatively, you can apply crushed mint leaves to your scalp. You can prepare herbal tea by adding 1 teaspoon of dried mint to 1 cup of boiling water. Leave it covered for 10 minutes and drink it with honey. 


Cinnamon- Cinnamon is a magical spice that is touted as one of the effective cures for headaches. To use it, grind cinnamon in powdered form, add some water to make a thick paste. Now apply it to your muscle or temple and lie down for 30 minutes. Then wash it off with lukewarm water.
