New Delhi: India has been registering a significant drop in daily Coronavirus infections and continuing with the declining trend the country reported 13,405 fresh Covid cases on Tuesday.
While 235 people succumbed to the virus on Monday, India registered 34,226 recoveries in the last 24 hours. The country's daily positivity rate has now dropped to 1.24%.

Delhi
Delhi on Monday reported 360 coronavirus cases and four fatalities, while the positivity rate dropped below one per cent for the first time since December 28 last year, according to data shared by the health department.
Out of these 360 cases, 86 pertain to earlier weeks that were added on the ICMR portal on Sunday, according to a PTI report.
The number of tests conducted a day ago stood at 38,136, while 706 patients were discharged in a span of 24 hours, the bulletin said, adding that the positivity rate is at 0.94 per cent.
The national capital's case tally now stands at 18,56,5117, and the death toll is at 26,105, it stated.
Karnataka
Karnataka on Monday reported 679 fresh cases of coronavirus and 21 fatalities, taking the aggregate to 39,37,265 and toll to 39,816.
There were 1,932 discharges, pushing the total number of recoveries to 38,86,052, a health bulletin said.
Of the new cases, 346 were from Bengaluru Urban saw 839 people being discharged and 8 virus-related deaths.
The total number of active cases across the state is now 11,360.
While the positivity rate for the day stood at 1.29 per cent, the case fatality rate (CFR) was 3.09 per cent.
