Wordle 679 Answer Today, April 29: The Wordle challenge today should not be too difficult. The word is often used during conversations. It has no rare consonants, and should be easy to guess. The word is a noun, and is a type of plant. Were you able to solve today’s Wordle using these hints? If not, read on.

How To Play Wordle And What Its Rules Are

Wordle, essentially a guessing game, was created by US-based software engineer Josh Wardle in 2021. It was an instant hit, with millions getting hooked to the free-to-play puzzle in no time. The New York Times bought Wordle last January. It, however, did not change any feature of the game.

The rules of the game are simple. You get six chances to guess the five-letter word of the day, which is randomly generated. Small squares containing the letter you fill in turn green, yellow or grey, giving crucial clues to let you know if you are on the right track.

If the box turns green, it means the letter is in the right location.

A yellow box means your guess is right but the letter is not in the right place.

If the box turns grey, it means the letter is incorrect.
