Wordle 288 Answer for April 3: The Wordle solution today is a very easy and common word after a somewhat tougher Saturday. It's a word that all of use use often in our regular conversations.

Wordle players should be able to crack the puzzle easily, though some may find it tough if they don't get the right vowel in the first couple of tries. Some reactions on social media, however, point to people having a tough time. And that is a bit puzzling, unless The New York Times has once again released two separate Wordle games, with different answers, on the same day — like it happened on March 30 for Wordle #284 when some people got 'STOVE' as their answer while others got 'HARRY'.

Check out how people fared today.

About Wordle And Its Rules

The Wordle, essentially a guessing game, was created by US-based oftware engineer Josh Wardle last year. It was an instant hit, with millions getting hooked to the free-to-pay puzzle in no time. The New York Times bought Wordle in January this year. It, however, did not change any feature of the game.

The rules are simple. You get six chances to guess the five letter word of the day, which is randomly generated. Small squares containing the letter you fill in turn green, yellow or grey, giving crucial clues to let you know if you are on the right track.

If the box turns green, it means the letter is in the right location.

A yellow box means your gues is right but the letter is not in the right place.

If the box turns grey, it means the letter is incorrect.
