Sony is gearing up to unveil the last batch of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium titles for 2024, featuring a mix of PS4 and PS5 games, retro classics, and a potential PSVR 2 release.

When Will Sony Announce Its New Free Games?

The announcement is expected to be scheduled for 10 pm IST (or 4:30 pm GMT) on December 11, with the games expected to become available for download starting December 17.

What Could Be On The Lineup?

Rumors are swirling about the potential inclusion of iconic God of War titles from the PS2 and PSP era, following the appearance of related artwork in the PS2 section of the PlayStation library. Some fans are also speculating that God of War Ragnarok could join the PS Plus Extra lineup, alongside other anticipated titles like Hogwarts Legacy, Robocop: Rogue City, and the climbing adventure game Jusant.

Frequent predictions for December also include popular games such as Forspoken, Sonic Frontiers, Viewfinder, and Resident Evil Village, though no official confirmation has been made.

However, not all news is celebratory for subscribers, as a total of 19 titles will be removed from the service this month. Players have until December 17 to enjoy games such as Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, Judgment, Dead Island, and Metal: Hellsinger. Retro fans will also see the departure of Mega Man Legacy Collection and Mega Man Legacy Collection 2.
