The excitement around the release of GTA 6 (stylised as GTA VI) seems to be neverending. Fans are not able to hold their horses and are going crazy with speculations around the release of the game and its plot. GTA 5's plot had everyone wrapped around its fingers and now fans are expecting a lot from its sequel as well. The trailer for the game was released back in December last year and since then fans have formed a number of theories. One such theory is that the male protagonist, Jason, is an undercover cop.
Yes, you read that right. Jason might indeed be an undercover cop. There are two protagonists in the upcoming game, namely — Lucia and Jason. We can decipher a number of things about Lucia from the trailer. She was in jail and then got out to be back in the crime world. However, not much was revealed about Jason except for some easter eggs.

If you look at the trailer closely, you will realise that there is a scene where some people bust a drug den and body cam footage is shown to depict that scene. Fans have speculated that this was Jason busting a drug den and the body cam footage means that he is an undercover cop.
A Redditor named JOJO_REDDIT made a post on Reddit explaining why they believe Jason might be an undercover cop. One of the reasons behind this speculation was also the choice of song in the trailer.
Another one of the rumours around the game is that it is based on the story of the iconic robber duo Bonny and Clyde.
So far, there is no concrete proof officially about Jason being an undercover cop but, if it is true then Rockstar might drop a few more hints or reveal it in the upcoming trailer launches. If it does then the plot will become much more intriguing and interesting.
