GTA 6 Speculations So Far

Fans of the series have been eagerly awaiting the next instalment, with rumours and speculations circulating for nearly a decade. GTA 6 made its first official appearance on the gaming scene in February 2022 when Rockstar Games announced its development. Since then, the project has been shrouded in secrecy, maintaining a high level of anticipation among gamers.

Recent leaks emerged seven months after the initial announcement, allegedly stemming from an early game build, prompting an official response from Rockstar Games to address the fervour surrounding the leaks. Nevertheless, despite the official statement, speculations about the game's features and storyline persist. One persistent rumour suggests that GTA 6 will feature two playable protagonists, Jason and Lucia, inspired by the infamous real-life criminal duo Bonnie and Clyde.

Furthermore, there are murmurs that the game's expansive virtual world will not only encompass a modern interpretation of Vice City, inspired by Miami, but also venture into regions of South America, including Brazil. A recent financial earnings call from Rockstar Games' parent company, Take-Two Interactive, has hinted at a potential release window for GTA 6, suggesting a timeframe between 2024 and 2025.

Adding weight to these claims, Take-Two Interactive has reaffirmed a similar release window, providing a more precise estimate. As the anticipation and speculation surrounding GTA 6 intensify, the gaming community eagerly awaits further details on this highly anticipated title.
