New Delhi: Ever since the news of Bollywood's famous starkids Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda making their debut with Zoya Akhtar's film came, the audience has eagerly been waiting to see them on-screen. The starkids will be making their debut with 'The Archies', which has finally gone on floor after much ado.

On Monday, Reema Kagti, who is co-producing the film with Zoya Akhtar, shared a picture of a clapboard sharing details of the first shot of the film.

Sharing the picture, Reema wrote, "#Archie’s #shootstarts #TigerBaby’s first solo production #partnerincrime @zoieakhtar @Netflix"

Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar also re-shared the post on his Instagram story, wishing luck to the team.

A few weeks ago, the audience's excitement was fuelled up as pictures of Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda from their look test, got viral on social media.

The film, set in the 1960s, will be a live-action musical set, introducing Riverdale to a new generation in India.

Talking about the film, Zoya Akhtar had said, "I am super excited to have the chance to bring The Archies to life. It was a large part of my childhood and teenage years. The characters are iconic and globally loved, which is also why I am a little nervous. I ahve to make sure the film stokes the nostalgia of a generation that grew up on the comic and yet resonates with the young adults today."

Zoya is all set to launch the starkids with this Netflix film. While Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor are already very popular, Agastya Nanda is the grandson of superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
