Newly married Bollywood actress Yami Gautam has landed herself in trouble. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned the Bollywood and she has been called for questioning in an alleged violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).
Yami Gautam, who recently tied the nuptial knot with filmmaker Aditya Dhar has allegedly violated FEMA. (Foreign Exchange Management Act) and is under the ED scanner. According to reports, this is the second time that the actress has been summoned by the ED. An ED official related to probe told IANS: "The agency has summoned Gautam to appear before it on July 7 to record her statement."
He said that she was summoned as it was found that she had received Rs 1.5 crore in her bank account from foreign countries.
On a related note, Yami Gautam got married to Uri director Aditya Dhar in an intimate wedding ceremony last month. The actress’ wedding trended big time on social media and she treated her fans with tons of pictures from her simple wedding which went viral within no-time.
The actress returned back to Mumbai last week soon after her wedding, to resumed shooting for her upcoming thriller film, A Thursday.
Yami who made her Bollywood debut with Vicky Donor has worked in several big Bollywood films including Kaabil, Badlapur, Bala to name a few.
