New Delhi: Someone who always knew that acting was his calling, Divyenndu, came to Mumbai to pursue his big Bollywood dreams. Like every aspirant, the talented actor, went through the grind of audition after audition until he cracked his big break with Pyaar Ka Punchnama.

The blockbuster made Divyenndu a household name and his character ‘Liquid’ is still widely remembered for his reliability and affability and so are his dialogues from the film. However, the young actor didn’t want to be typecast in a particular role and set out on a different path with Chashme Baddoor.

Divyenndu stood out in the ensemble comedy-entertainer and also showcased his versatility as a performer. After dabbling in small but significant roles in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Batti Gul Meter Chalu, the actor established himself as a promising, young talent who followed his heart and chose to do things that creatively satisfied him.

Soon after came Mirzapur, where Divyenndu created pandemonium with his role as ‘Munna Bhaiya’. Despite playing a baddie filled with angst, the character is still amongst the most loved on the OTT platform and made him a talent to reckon with.

Says a trade source, “What makes Divyenndu special is his honest passion for the craft that led him to dabble in a variety of roles and explore different genres. He plays a lovable guy next door and a toxic baddie with equal ease and is unanimously loved in both these avatars. His characters are fondly remembered years after the film’s release and that is the kind of impact he makes as a performer.”

Divyenndu will next be seen in a couple of projects which are still awaiting official announcements as per reports.
