Mumbai: Popular Spanish heist drama ‘Money Heist’ is all set to entertain the audience with its fifth and final season. The 5th season of the web series will release in two volumes. The first volume of the series will release on September 3, 2021, and the second volume will premiere on December 3.


Fans of this Netflix series have been eagerly waiting for updates and glimpses from this upcoming season. Well, there is a reason for ‘Money Heist’ lovers to rejoice as the makers have dropped a new teaser from the upcoming series. However, the latest glimpse hints at ‘checkmate’ for The Profesor.

Netflix shared this short video from ‘Money Heist 5’ where The Profesor can be seen entangled in chains by Alicia Sierra. While sharing the video, Netflix wrote, “Is this checkmate for the Professor? Yeh dekhke humara chain kho gaya! Trailer arrives 2nd August!”



The makers also announced that the trailer of the series will release on August 2, 2021.


Also, while announcing the release date of ‘Money Heist 5’ earlier this year, Netflix shared a short teaser and wrote, “La Casa de Papel / Money Heist is finally coming back! Part 5: Volume 1 premieres September 3 Part 5: Volume 2 premieres December 3”.



‘Money Heist’ is a series on long-prepared heists on the Royal Mint of Spain and on the Bank of Spain. Originally known as ‘La Casa De Papel’ in Spanish, this series stars an ensemble lead cast that includes Alvaro Morte (The Professor), Úrsula Corberó (Tokyo), Itziar Ituño (Raquel Murillo/Lisbon), Pedro Alonso (Berlin), Alba Flores (Nairobi), Miguel Herrán (Rio), Jaime Lorente (Denver), Esther Acebo (Mónica Gaztambide/Stockholm), Enrique Arce (Arturo), Darko Peric (Helsinki), Najwa Nimri (Inspector Sierra) and others.
