New Delhi: The second season of the medical thriller 'Human', starring Shefali Shah and Kirti Kulhari, will soon release. On Saturday, the web series marked the completion of its first season, and series director Vipul Shah revealed the theme for the upcoming season.
The director stated that the second season will explore a fresh scam from the field of medical science, while the first season focused on the unethical human trials of pharmaceutical medications.
"My belief in a good story has been strengthened by Human. A lot of people were questioning me when I was making it, and a lot of people also told me that typically they don't associate me with directing a show like Human. They feel that this is not my kind of content, and I am very very happy that across all the platforms, across all the kinds of audiences, the show has done exceedingly well," Vipul Shah said as reported by IANS.
As he continued, the filmmaker revealed the origins of the second season and said, "I think season 2 will be about a new scam in the world of medicine. It will again be very factual, it will be research-based but the most important thing is that we need to have a very very good script. We are working on something and as and when it is ready, we will evaluate if it has become better than Human One or not. We would like to beat Human One with Human Two and bring something very very new, eye-opening and shocking for audiences."
Ahead of this, Shefali Shah who played Dr. Gauri Nath and garnered immense love from the audience and great reviews from critics, said, "Human completes a year and its still one of the most viewed shows and loved shows. I am just so glad I could be a part of the show which is talking about a really important thing and play a character which is always going to be the furthest away from me, and thats why its so much exciting. The show is going be there for prosperity for people to see forever. So it’s really something."
With Shefali Shah and a strong cast, 'Human', a medical drama series on Disney+ Hotstar, addressed the drama and difficulties faced by medical professionals. The series, which looks at these incidents through the eyes of medical staff, centres on Shah's surgeon character Gauri Nath, who is at the centre of the crime.
