New Delhi: In 2023, the OTT streaming services have a tonne of content planned. Bengali web-series are keeping viewers interested in addition to other language shows. This year appears to be no different, as several sequels and new shows are gearing up to release on your handheld screen.
Here is a round up of a few shows that you can soon watch on OTT:
1. Indu season 2
The first season of 'Indu', which premiered on Hoichoi in October 2021, will soon return on the OTT platform with season 2, which left a lot of questions unsolved. The first season's finale felt like a cliffhanger. Nothing else can match the fan following for mystery thrillers. Suspense and drama are cornerstones of a story's thrill. Played by Isha Saha, Indu gets married after enduring many challenges, however, the family she enters after marriage conceals a lot of secrets. This season is jam-packed with thrills and answers to a lot of audience questions.
2. Indubala Bhater Hotel
Subhashree Ganguly will make her OTT debut with Debaloy Bhattachary's 'Indubala Bhater hotel'. The show will delve into Indubala's arduous journey following the time of Partition and is entirely based on Kallol Lahiri's novel. It will describe a lovely story involving two Bengals: opar Bangla, or Bangladesh, and epar Bangla, or West Bengal.
3. Abar Proloy
Parambrata Chatterjee, Paran Bandyopadhyay, Saswata Chatterjee, and Mimi Chakroborty starred in the 2013 crime thriller directed by Raj Chakraborty. In this web series, actor Vikram Chatterjee and actress Raima Sen will collaborate for the first time. The tale reveals the dark secrets kept by the Mukherjee family. The teaser portrays Raima Sen playing charades with her family's older members in a nod to her Hello look series. The scene transitions to a sight of Vikram, who is playing her husband, struggling with a head injury, as he attempts to guess the title of a movie. The cast also features Laboni Sarkar, Kinjal Nanda, Angana Roy, Haridash Chatterjee, Rooqma Roy, and Tulika Basu.
5. Montu Pilot 3
In Debaloy Bhattacharya's 'Montu Pilot', Sourav Das portrays Montu, a man who had ambitions of becoming a pilot but ultimately became a brothel owner. Although Montu's mother makes an effort to keep him away from the brothels, her death has a profound impact on his life. He meets Bhromor, a woman whose father sold her into prostitution. and realises the essence of love. Neelkuthi finally separates Bhromor and Montu in Season 1. An enraged and upset Montu plots revenge against Neelkuthi in the second season by using a new girl, Bonhi (Rafiath Rashid Mithila), as a pawn. Another murder case is unfolding in Neelkuthi as the relationship between Montu and Bhromor begins to take shape. Hopefully, Season 3 will have all of the answers.
6. Feludar Goyendagiri 2
A second season of Srijit Mukherji's Feludar Goyendagiri has been released, and this time Bengal's beloved private investigator will travel to Kashmir to solve a crime.
