Mumbai: After Superstar Amitabh Bachchan tested positive for Coronavirus on Saturday night, fans have been praying and posting wishes for his speedy recovery. Big B himself took to Twitter and confirmed that he had tested positive for the virus. Abhishek Bacchan also informed on Twitter that he had tested positive and both him and father Amitabh Bachchan have mild symptoms.

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has been shifted to the isolation ward of the Nanavati hospital for now. Social media exploded with 'Get Well Soon' messages after Amitabh Bachchan broke the shocking news of testing positive for the virus.

On Sunday Morning an undated video of Megastar Amitabh Bachchan started doing rounds where the superstar is seen thanking the medical professionals of Nananvti hospitals for being on the frontline always and helping patients with a speedy recovery.

In the video, Big B thanked all the doctors, nurses, and staffs at Nanavati Hospital for the tremendous work that they are doing at these circumstances. Senior Bachchan said that in this hour of crisis, those in the white coats are a form of God and are saving lives, putting their own lives in danger.  Amitabh Bachchan further added that there is always fear, depression. Big B urged everyone not to panic and expressed hope that we shall come out of these difficult times very soon.

Though the video is 2 months old, any inspiring message from Big B will help the fans to stay strong at these difficult times as they pray for the speedy recovery of the superstar.

Nanavati Hospital, where superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are admitted has informed that the condition of the stars is stable and they will release a health update at 12 noon. Amitabh Bachchan's wife Jaya Bachchan, daughter in law Aishwarya Rai and granddaughter Aradhya Bachchan have tested negative for the virus but their swab test results are still awaited.

The BMC will meet the Bachchan family at 10 am today to contact trace all those people who came in contact with the Bachchan family over the last few days. It will also conduct a sanitization drive of Bachchan family's house, 'Jalsa'. Other members of the family have been asked to stay in isolation for the next few days.
